Registration

UAI 2026 is primarily organized as an in-person event, and we very much hope to see many of you in real life in beautiful Amsterdam! It is also possible, however, to choose online attendance, which gives you access to the main conference program and online tutorials and workshops.

Registration is for the entire event. We have tutorials on Monday 17th August, the main conference on 18th-20th August, and workshops on Friday 21st August.

In person registration includes poster sessions, catered coffee breaks, and the conference banquet, providing plenty of time to socialize and meet other researchers. Moreover, it also includes online attendance, in case you might prefer it for parts of the conference.

  • The early bird registration deadline is July 14th 23:59 AOE.
  • The deadline for the in-person registrations is August 13th 23:59 AOE. There is no on-site registration. Do not travel to attend UAI in person without a registration.
  • Important: We require that all papers have at least one author registered. If you are unable to attend in person, you can register for the online-only attendance. This includes workshop papers.

Visa invitation letters

If you require an invitation letter in order to obtain a visa, please register first and then write to uai2026chairs+general@gmail.com

Details required for visa invitation letter:

  1. badge name you will use;
  2. your address;
  3. copy of your passport;
  4. ID of accepted paper (if any);
  5. proof of registration.

Invoice

We have added the possibility of invoice details already during the registration process, so if you need to add specific billing data or tax number, please add it then. You should be able to access your registration with all the registration details (so including these) by clicking on View Registration in the email confirmation from Event Create.

If you need a different invoice, please register first and then write to the General Chair at uai2025chairs+general@gmail.com, sending the billing data and a proof of registration.

Please note that we will not be able to provide a VAT number.
