Overview: The Applications Workshop and tutorials will be on July 19th, followed by a reception on the evening of the 19th. The main conference will run from the morning of July 20th through late afternoon/early evening on Sunday, July 22nd.
UAI 2007 will be held in room 1005 of the Forest Sciences Centre of the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada.
The Vancouver International Airport code is YVR. Vancouver International Airport is served by most major airlines.
Expect to pay $30 CDN for a cab ride from the airport to the Hyatt, or $40 CDN for a ride to the university from the airport. We are not aware of convenient shuttle or public transportation options.
Downtown is about 25 minutes from the UBC campus by bus. There is a transit hub adjacent to the Hyatt Regency Vancouver. Bus #44 for a direct line between the transit hub and the UBC campus. For additional information, please see the Translink website. The alternative is a $25 CDN cab ride.
